Transfer Site Ownership – The recipient end


As you send the transfer request, the following email will be sent to the email address specified:

  • Once the user clicks on the button, a new user will be directed to create a new account and an existing user will see the below screen:
  • The user can either accept (1) or decline (2) the edit request.
  • On declining the request, the ownership transfer process will be canceled totally.

  • As the user accepts the request, he/she will be directed to the My Websites page where he/she can click on the Edit Website button to start editing it.

  • The user will now reach the Pixpa studio dashboard.
  • Finally, the user becomes the new owner and can make all the changes to the website.
  • The previous owner of the Pixpa account loses all control over the account, however, you can add him as a user and permit him to make some changes.


Important steps to be followed (by new owner):

  1. The card connected to the Pixpa account is not changed when the account is transferred. The System keeps charging the connected card as usual. Make sure you change the connected card.
  2. Know about the website content.
  3. Change the contact email address on the Contact page.
  4. The prior owner loses all control over the Pixpa account so you can add him/her as a user and permit limited access if required.
