Transfer Site Ownership

Pixpa enables you to transfer your website ownership to anyone you wish. If you wish to give permitted access to specified people, you can do that too.

Once you transfer the ownership, the prior owner will not have any access to his account. This is helpful when you work/design a website for a client and wish to deliver it to the client.

Points to remember:

  1. Any permitted user cannot transfer the ownership, it can only be done by the Pixpa account holder.
  2. Once you change the ownership, make sure the new owner has updated the credit card for the recurring subscription. Otherwise the old card connected to the website gets charged on renewals.
  3. As you transfer the ownership, the new owner has all rights to keep or cancel the subscription.
  4. There can be many permitted users for an account but only a single owner exists.

Transfer Site Ownership:

  • Enter users (1) in the Search Bar.
  • From the related results, click on the Users and Permissions option (2) under Actions.

  • As you click on the Transfer Site Ownership, you will see the below popup.
    1. Enter the email address to whom you wish to transfer the ownership.
    2. Enter your Pixpa Account Password
    3. Confirm by typing Transfer in the box below
    4. Finally, click on the Transfer Site Ownership button.

Note:

  1. Transfer of site ownership is irreversible. You would lose all access to this Pixpa website. The new site owner will be able to change or cancel subscription and make any changes to the website.
  2. The new site owner can add you as a user with limited permissions for this website (based on the Pixpa plan).

  • Now, you will see the transfer request below (1).
  • You can also click on the menu button (2) and cancel the transfer request (3) too.
