Inventory – Store

The Inventory page

• Enter inventory (1) in the search bar.
• Click on the Update Inventory option (2) from the related results.

• You will now reach the Inventory page.
• On this page, you will see a listing of all the existing products and variants.
• From here, you will be able to:
  1. Search your products by Title, Tags, and SKU.
  2. Filter the products by category name or with a product status basis.
  3. Sort your products based on Title, Price, Old to New, or New to Old.
  4. Bulk Actions – Select multiple or all of your products to change the inventory, price, weight, or apply a discount. Learn more.
• Click on the product to visit the product edit page.

Bulk Actions

• You can update product inventory, weight, price, or apply discounts using the Bulk Actions provided on the Inventory page.
• Select the products/variants (1), click on the Actions button (2), and then, click on the respective action that you want to take on the selected products.
• Once you have taken any action, all the selected products will be updated.

Update Weight

Update Price

To know how to update the product’s price in bulk, watch this video:

• The specified price will be applied to all the selected products/variants.

Apply Discount

• Using this action you can add a discount to the actual product price that you specified earlier.
• As you apply the discount (in percentage), the actual product price is shifted to the compare at price field and the discounted price becomes the product price.

Update Inventory

The Update Inventory button only shows up when you:

1. Select all the products
2. Select all variants of a single product
3. Select different products with no variants
4. Select products and variants with the same state of inventory.

When you hit the Update Inventory button (1), you have to choose the inventory status.

• As you choose the OFF – Do not track inventory option, all the products in your store will always be in stock (2).

As you choose the ON-Track inventory option (1), you can manage:

2. What to do when the product is out-of-stock –
   • You can set the product as sold out if inventory goes to zero.
   • Or you can allow customers to purchase these products when it’s out of stock. Typically it would help to take back orders or pre-orders. In this case, inventory shows up as a negative number as orders come.
3. Update Quantity –
   • Add Quantity to selected products/variants. In this case, the specified quantity is added to the existing quantities of the products.
   • Set Quantity of selected products/variants. In this case, the specified quantity is set as the available quantity for all the available products.

• View all the selected products/variants and the quantity available (4).
• Hit the Save button to save the changes.
