All WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) text editors have this problem, where if you copy the pre-formatted text directly from Word, Powerpoint, or any internet page…the text editors tend to mess up the text or does not adapt the default website text styling.
Hence instead of typing everything directly in text editor, a better way would be remove formatting from your text before you paste it into Pixpa’s text editor using following tools.
Or paste the text in Pixpa editor by using Ctrl

Use TextEdit tool in macOS to remove pre-formatting

- From the Applications > TextEdit, open TextEdit and create a new document.
- Then choose Format > Make Plain Text (

+T
).

- Now paste your text from Word or PDF file or any internet page in TextEdit. It should remove most of the pre formatting.
- You can then copy the text from TextEdit and paste it in the Pixpa editor.
- After that, you would be able to manage all types of text formatting in Pixpa editor.
Use Notepad tool in Windows to remove pre-formatting

- From the bottom search bar, search for Notepad and open the same.
- Now paste your text from Word or PDF file or any internet page in Notepad. It should remove most of the pre formatting.
- You can then copy the text from Notepad and paste your copied text to the Pixpa editor.
- After that, you would be able to manage all types of text formatting in Pixpa editor.
