Edit my template – Skyline

Skyline is a great choice for a multi-disciplinary design agency.

You would have a banner/slider that fills up the web page and can showcase your portfolio in the sections below.

There are few sections (apart from the header and footer) in the demo homepage of the Skyline template. Follow the steps below to edit each of them.


The header contains the menu (1), logo/site title (2), social icons (3), and menu button (4).


  • To view or edit any of the pages, visit the Website section.

  • You will now reach the Menu tab where you can edit your site menu.
  • Click on the Home menu item to edit it(as shown in the image).

  • This will bring you to the page editor for the ‘Home’ page.

First section – Basic

The first section is a basic section. Click on any text in this section to edit it. Learn more.

To change the button label, URL, or styling, click on it. Then, click on the link icon. See how to link the button.


Second section – Headline

The second section contains a headline. A headline can be used to add information about you or your business. Click on any text in this section to edit it. Learn more.

Replacing the images here is similar to uploading your images in the Images section. You can click on the demo image, then click on the Image icon to change the image.

Third section – Text

The third section contains a text block. Click on any text in this section to edit it. Learn more.

To manage the section, hover over the section and click on the section icon from the editing toolbar present in the top right corner of the section. See how to manage the section.


Fourth section – Image List

The fourth section contains an image list. You can add a list of the services you offer or a list of galleries.

To edit the links, change the layout or replace the demo images, click on the Manage Image List button.

  • To add a new item to your image list, click on the Add Item (1) button.
  • To replace an image or edit an item. click on it (2).
  • To duplicate an item, click on the copy icon (3).
  • To delete an item from your image list, click on the delete icon (4).
  • To change the layout or explore different layouts, click on the Layout tab (5).
  • To edit the style and increase/decrease the number of columns, click on the Style tab (6).
  • To edit/delete the headline, go to the Section Headline field (7).

Fifth section – Headline

The fifth section contains a headline. A headline can be used to add information about you or your business. Click on any text in this section to edit it. Learn more.

Replacing the images here is similar to uploading your images in the Images section. You can click on the demo image, then click on the Image icon to change the image.

Sixth section – Basic

The sixth section is a basic section. Click on any text in this section to edit it. Learn more.

Seventh section – Blog Feed

The seventh section contains a blog feed. To replace the demo blogs with your own and manage them, click on the Manage Blog Feed button.

  • From the Settings (1) tab, choose which blog should be displayed in this section, the number of posts, and few other settings.
  • From the Layout (2) tab, change the blog feed section layout.

Prefooter

To display a certain section (e.g. Instagram feed) at the bottom of all the pages or selected pages in your website, you can use a prefooter.

You can edit the prefooter here. In this template, there is an Instagram section, a Newsletter section, and a social icons section in the prefooter.

Instagram section

Click on the Manage fields button to manage the submit button label, size, post submit success message, and few other fields.

Social section 

Click on the Manage button to manage the social icons, headline, icons size, and few other fields.


The footer contains the credits for your websites. You can add social iconscopyright text (1), and important links here.

Note: You would see our branding ‘Built on Pixpa’ (2) in the footer while you are on the trial period. Once you’ve subscribed, you can choose to have it removed.
