Edit my template – Notion

Notion is a great choice for a portrait or fashion photographer.

This theme features a folder listing page as the homepage, which contains thumbnails of galleries under the folder. Clicking on any of them would take a visitor to the respective gallery.

Apart from the header, and footer, there are featured images on this page. Follow the steps below to edit each of them.

The header contains the logo/site title (1),  and menu (2).


Folder Settings

Now that you’ve started with this beautiful theme, you’d have its demo pages in your menu.

To view or edit any of the pages, just click on it. Let’s begin with the ‘Work’ folder.

  • Go to the Site Menu.
  • Click on the three-dot icon next to Work (1) and select Settings (2).

 

  • This will bring you to the folder settings.
  • Under the Settings tab, you can edit the title (1), visibility, and also have the option to delete the folder. Know more about folder settings.
  • To customize the appearance of the folder listing page, click on the Design (2) tab. Know more about folder design.
  • To edit the text above the thumbnails or to add an image/video banner, click on the Banner (3) tab. Know more about the folder banner.

 


Thumbnails

The four images displayed in the folder listing page are the thumbnail images of the galleries under the folder.

To change the thumbnail image of any gallery, click on the gallery in the Site Menu.

This will bring you to the gallery editor.

  • Click on the Settings (1) tab.
  • To upload a thumbnail image, click on the Upload Image (2) button under Thumbnail Image.

Note: If there is no thumbnail image, system will display the first image in this gallery as a thumbnail in the folder listing page.

  • Below that, you can edit the Headline (3) of the gallery.

 


The footer contains the credits for your websites. You can add social icons (1), copyright text (2), and important links here.

Note: You would see our branding ‘Built on Pixpa’ (3) in the footer while you are on the trial period. Once you’ve subscribed, you can choose to have it removed.
