Indus is a great choice for a simple and elegant portfolio. It has a gallery as the homepage with a square grid layout.
There’s only one section (apart from the header, prefooter and footer) in the demo homepage of the Indus theme. Follow the steps below to edit them.
Header
The header contains the logo/site title (1), menu (2) and social links (3).
- To change the header layout, go to Header in the Design section. See how

- To add/remove an item to/from the menu, go to the Website menu. See how
- To add/remove/edit social media links, go to Social Links from theWebsite section. See how
Gallery
To view or edit any of the pages, just click on it. Let’s begin with the ‘Home’ gallery.
- Go to the Site Menu.
- Click on Home (as shown in the image).
- This will bring you to the page editor for the ‘Home’ gallery.
- To upload new images to the gallery, click on the Add Media (1) button.
- To view the gallery, click on the View (2) button.
- To access the gallery settings, click on the Settings (3) tab.
- To access the gallery design options, click on the Design (4) tab.
- To add a banner to your gallery, click on the Banner (5) tab.

Prefooter
To display a certain section (e.g. Instagram feed) at the bottom of all the pages or selected pages in your website, you can use a prefooter.
You can edit the prefooter here. In this theme, there is an Instagram section in the prefooter. Click here to see how to edit a social section and display your own Instagram feed.

Footer
The footer contains the credits for your websites. You can add social icons (1), a copyright text (2) and important links here.
Note: You would see our branding ‘Built on Pixpa’ (3) in the footer while you are on the trial period. Once you’ve subscribed, you can choose to have it removed.
