Edit my template – Sundance

Sundance is a great choice for a professional graphic designer and blogger.

This template features a blog listing page as the homepage, which contains thumbnails of blog posts under the blog. Clicking on any of them would take a visitor to the respective blog post.

Apart from the header and footer, there is a banner and a few thumbnail images of blog posts on this page. Follow the steps below to edit each of them.

The header contains the logo/site title (1), menu (2), social icons (3), and a search icon (4).

The homepage, which is a blog listing page, is named ‘Blog’.


Visit the Homepage

  • To view or edit any of the pages, visit the Website section.

  • You will now reach the Menu tab where you can edit your site menu.
  • Hover on the Blog menu item, click on the three vertical dots icon (1), and select the Manage Posts option (2) to edit it(as shown in the image).

  • This will bring you to the blog editing page of the ‘Blog’.

Blog

  • The images displayed on the blog listing page are the thumbnail images of the blog posts under the blog. The thumbnail image of the blog post is displayed as a thumbnail on the blog listing page.
  • To add change the thumbnail image or replace the demo content of the blog post with your own, visit the blog editing page as explained above. Learn more.

Editing Blog Posts

  • Once you have reached the All Posts (1) page, click on any blog post title (2) to edit the post, or click on the menu icon (3) to view a few quick links.

  • From the Edit Blog Post page and Settings tab (1), you can manage the blog post title, author, content, thumbnail image, SEO details, and many other details. Learn more.
  • To edit the banner over the blog post page, click on the Banner tab (2) and manage it.

Blog Categories

  • From the blog editing page, click on the Categories link (1) to manage the blog categories.
  • You can edit/delete the category from the menu icon (2) or create a new category (3) for your blog.

Blog Settings

  • From the blog editing page, click on the Settings link (1) to manage the blog settings.
  • Click on the Settings tab (2) to manage the blog title, visibility, blog comments, SEO, and few other fields. Learn more.
  • Click on the Design tab (3) to manage the blog and blog post page design. Learn more.
  • Click on the Sidebar tab (4) to manage the blog sidebar. Learn more.
  • Click on the Banner tab (5) to edit the banner over the blog. Learn more.


Blog Authors

  • Click on the Authors link (1) to view and manage the list of authors on your blog.
  • Click on the menu icon (2) and then on the Edit option (3) to edit the author details or click on the +Add Author button (4) to add a new author. Learn more.


Blog RSS feed

  • RSS feed lets your site visitors subscribe to your blog posts and get updates.
  • Click on the RSS Feed link to view the blog RSS Feed. Learn more.


Blog Design

  • You can set the appearance of your blog listing page and blog post page of your website using the options below.
  • To design your blog, go to the Blog Settings (1) and click on the Design (2) tab. This will open up a drawer on the right-hand side, where you can edit your Blog listing page (3) and Blog post page (4).

  • You can manage the layout, layout width, content width and alignment, and few other options.
  • You can opt to show the author name, excerpt, and the read more link with the blog post grid on the blog listing page.

Prefooter

To display a certain section (e.g. Instagram feed) at the bottom of all the pages or selected pages in your website, you can use a prefooter.

You can edit the prefooter here. In this template, there is an Instagram section and a newsletter subscription section in the prefooter.

Newsletter Subscription section

There is a newsletter subscription section in the pre-footer of this template.

Click on the Manage fields button to manage the submit button label, size, post submit success message, and few other fields.

The footer contains the credits for your websites. You can add social icons (1), copyright text (2), and important links here. Also Check: Social Sharing options.

Note: You would see our branding ‘Built on Pixpa’ (3) in the footer while you are on the trial period. Once you’ve subscribed, you can choose to have it removed.
