Shade is the best choice for a coffee shop or a similar business. You would have a banner/slider that fills up the web page and can showcase your portfolio or products in the sections below.
There are few sections (apart from the header and footer) in the demo homepage of the Shade template. Follow the steps below to edit each of them.
Header
The header contains the logo/site title (1), menu (2), and social icons (3).
- To change the header layout, go to Header in the Design section. See how.
- To add/change the logo or site title, go to Site Title & Logo in the Design section. See how.
- To add/remove an item to/from the menu, go to the Website menu. See how.
- The Home, About, and Contact menu items are pages.
- The Blog menu item is a blog listing page.
- To add/remove/edit social media links, go to Social Links from the Website section. See how.
- To add/remove the cart icon, go to the Design page in the Store section. See how.
- To add/remove/edit the menu button, go to Header in the Design section. See how.
Visit the Homepage
- To view or edit any of the pages, visit the Website section.
- You will now reach the Menu tab where you can edit your site menu.
- Click on the Home menu item to edit it(as shown in the image).
- This will bring you to the page editor for the ‘Home’ page.
First section – Basic
The first section is a basic section. Click on any text in this section to edit it. Learn more.
To change the background image, hover over the section and click on the content icon from the editing toolbar present in the top right corner of the section. See how to change the background image.

Second section – Blog feed
The second section contains a blog feed. To replace the demo blogs with your own and manage them, click on the Manage Blog Feed button.
- From the Settings (1) tab, choose which blog should be displayed in this section, the number of posts, and few other settings.
- From the Layout (2) tab, change the blog feed section layout.

Third section – Basic
The third section is a basic section.
To change the background image, hover over the section and click on the content icon from the editing toolbar present in the top right corner of the section. See how to change the background image.

Prefooter
To display a certain section (e.g. Instagram feed) at the bottom of all the pages or selected pages in your website, you can use a prefooter.
You can edit the prefooter here. In this template, there is an Instagram section in the prefooter. Click here to see how to edit a social section and display your own Instagram feed.

Footer
The footer contains the credits for your websites. You can add social icons (1), copyright text (2), and important links here.
