Does Pixpa charge any commissions on orders? 

Pixpa does not charge any setup fees, listing fees, or transaction fees on the products or orders of your Pixpa store.

Is the Store available in my billing plan? 

Yes, the store platform is available for all the subscribers except the ones on the Light plan. The major difference varies in the number of products you can sell.

Can customers from around the world purchase my products? 

Yes, you are free to accept orders from anywhere around the world provided that our payment methods are supported there. There are no other location-based restrictions for your store customers.
In case, you do not want to operate/ship to any locations, you can restrict the checkout this way.

What shipping methods can I offer? 

You can add your shipping regions in the store from the shipping option. Shipping is managed from your end so you can use any shipping option for your orders.

What can I sell on my website? 

You can sell a variety of products from your store. Using the store you can sell physical products such as t-shirts, merchandise, prints, download-ready digital content such as e-books, music, digital art, and services such as workshops, photography packages, and design projects.

Also using the eCommerce enabled galleries, you can sell your images as prints and downloads.

Which payment processors can I use? 

Stripe, Paypal, PayUmoney[For Indian Users only] and offline payments are the payment processors supported by Pixpa.

Can customers buy items that are out of stock? 

Yes, you can allow back ordering of out-of-stock products. Once you have turned on back ordering for a product, customers can place their orders irrespective of the product inventory level.

Or you can also choose to mark the products as sold out once the product becomes out of stock. When the product goes out of stock the customers cannot place orders for that particular product.
Pixpa also enables you to show low on stock label over a product.

Can I export orders to a .csv file? 

Yes, you can easily export the orders to a .csv file from the orders page. Once you have exported the orders, you can open and view the file using an excel sheet.

Does Store work on all templates? 

Yes, you can set up an eye-catching store using any of our templates. The templates listed below are specially crafted for Store:


When will a product be removed from inventory? 

Whenever someone checks out buying products from your store, the inventory level of the products goes down.

Will a customer’s cart save if they leave my site and return later? 

Once the customer has added products to the cart in your store, they will last until he/she returns. In case the product goes out of stock before a customer returns, it will remain in the cart but once he/she tries to checkout it will be shown as out of stock (if you have not enabled back-ordering for that product).

In case of incomplete checkout, you can recover the abandoned carts.
Abandoned Carts Recovery is available only in the Business plan.


Can I offer free digital downloads? 

Yes, you can provide free digital downloads to your customers. For doing this, you can set the digital product’s price as $0.00.

In case you are using eCommerce Galleries, you can add a digital download product and set the price as $0.00.

When will customers be charged? 

Once the customer checks out from your store, he/she would be charged. In case of offline payments, the customer will be able to check out from your store without making any payment.


How can I charge tax? 

Pixpa allows you to create tax rates for all the countries and states/regions (the US and Canada only).
You can apply the tax inclusive or exclusive of the product price.

Where should I charge taxes?

For physical products, by default, the tax rate will be applied. You can also choose to charge the tax on digital downloads, services, and shipping from the Taxes option in your Store.


Can I collect VAT or GST?

You can specify your tax rate and tax name from the Taxes option in your Store.

If you are collecting GST, you can set your tax rate name as GST and similarly VAT in case you collect VAT.


Does Pixpa support Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)?

We have the option of the Stripe payment gateway. Stripe integration with your Pixpa website now fully supports SCA—including exemption logic—and ensures that you only ask customers to provide additional authentication when strictly necessary.


Where can I find my 1099-K form?

You can connect your Paypal and Stripe accounts to take payments to your store. All the payments will be directly reflected in your payment option.

Can I add tracking numbers to shipping notifications?

Yes, while updating the order status you have the option to add a text to the same where you can add your shipping details and send a mail to your customer from the Pixpa studio.

How many products can I add to my site? 

The number of products you can add to the store depends on the pricing plan you have chosen. The pricing plans with the maximum number of products that can be added to the store are listed below:
Personal plan – 25 products
Expert plan     – 100 products
Business plan – 1000 products

The Store feature is not available on Light plan. Check features offered


Can I hide the quantity field? 

Yes, you can hide the quantity dropdown and allow only one quantity of a product to be sold in a particular order using the Hide Quantity Field option. The quantity selection box will not available in case you have chosen this option.

How often can I update my store products? 

You update your store and store products whenever you like. Whenever you have a new product or a new product image, you can just log in to your Pixpa account and update the same. The changes will reflect on your website instantly.


How many images can I add to a product? 

You can add up to 10 images for your store product. Ideally, images should be JPEGs and around 1000 pixels in width.

Can I manage product inventory? 

Yes, you can manage the product inventory i.e., the quantity of a particular product (Physical, Digital, or Service) that is available for sale in your Pixpa store. Inventory management is available only in the Business plan.

Can I create multiple product options? 

Product options let you set up options with different prices for a product. In Pixpa, you can create multiple product options.

Can I accept back orders? 

Yes, you can accept backorders when your products are out of stock temporarily. You can fulfill them once the products are back in stock. The inventory would run in negative values as the backorders start.

Can I exempt any product from taxes? 

Yes, you can remove tax from a specific product. Then, the tax for that particular product would be calculated as 0.

Can I create free products? 

You can create free products in your store, and also sell them free of cost. For doing this, you need to:

  1. Specify the product price as zero.
  2. Tax-exempt the product.
  3. Create a free shipping region.

Can I add multiple email addresses in my store?

Yes, you can add a store email address and also add 2 staff email addresses to who you want to be notified when a new order comes in.
