Set a slideshow of images auto-playing as your home page or elsewhere on your website using Pixpa’s slideshow settings. Once you set a slideshow on your gallery, you can set it as your home page.
This is the best way to showcase your images as a Photographer, architectural designer, graphic designer, or model and attract your website visitors.
Make sure that you are using the single image layout. If not, change it this way.

Once you change the gallery layout, you can change the slideshow settings as shown below.
To change the image transitions or sideshow speed for your photo galleries, you need to go to the gallery design settings.
Follow these steps:
From Gallery presets:
- As you add a gallery, the system would apply the preset style specified in the Design section. You can manage your preset style from there which would be used in all your galleries.
- To manage the slideshow settings in gallery preset, go to the Design section and click on the Galleries tab.
- You will then see the slideshow options where you will be able to manage:
- Image slideshow enable/disable
- Slideshow speed and
- Slideshow transitions – Fade, Horizontal Slide, and Vertical slide.
- Hit on the Publish button to publish your design changes on the live site.
From gallery individual settings:
- If you want to manage the slideshow settings of any specific gallery then click on the Design tab and select the Style this gallery differently option to disable the preset settings.
- Scroll down to the bottom you’ll see the section of the Slideshow (1) as shown in the image below.
- Hit on the Save (2) button to publish your changes on the live site.
To enable autoplay slideshow, follow these steps:
Go to the style options as directed above, and scroll down to the bottom, you would see the slideshow controls. You can set your Gallery to run as a slideshow using the below options:
- Enable Autoplay Slideshow – Enable the slideshow to play automatically in a single image gallery layout and full image viewer (in case of any grid layout).
- Slideshow speed in seconds.
- Slideshow transition effect for images.
