Apart from the default Instagram Gallery, you can embed your Instagram images in pages and blog posts without adding them into a dedicated gallery with the help of Snapwidget.
To add Snapwidget, follow these steps:
- Sign up on Snapwidget. Once you sign in, you’ll see the screen that asks you to choose a service.
- Click on the Choose a service (1) button.
- This will show you three options (2) to choose from – Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
- Click on Instagram and scroll down to the section where you have to choose your preferred layout.
- Select the layout you’d prefer to display on your website. You’ll now see the option to configure the widget. Click on the Configure Widget button.
- This will take you to the screen where you can edit the description and appearance of the widget.
- Username – Click here to add your Instagram username. You’ll see a popup asking you to sign in with Instagram (if you aren’t signed in yet). Click on the Sign in with Instagram button.
You’ll then see a popup window that asks you for permission to authorize. Click on the Authorize button. - Description – Enter a description of your Instagram feed here.
- Thumbnail Size – Specify the size of image thumbnails here.
- Layout – Specify the number of columns and rows you want to display.
- Get Widget – Click on the Get Widget button to get your embed code. You’ll then see a popup window that shows the code. Click on the Copy to clipboard button to copy the whole embed code.
- Update Preview – Click here to update your changes.

Now that you’ve copied the embed code, you can paste it into any page or blog post.
Add in pages
- You can add the embed code to any page with the help of a custom code snippet.

Add in a blog post
- Go to the Edit Blog Post page to edit the post where you want to add the embed code.
- Then, click on the ‘<>’ icon above the text editor.
- This will show you the code for the content in the blog post.
- You can paste your embed code where you want to display the Instagram feed. In this example, I have added the embed code below the post.
- Save your changes.
